Why I chose MATC?
Not having a career in mind I originally decided to attend
MATC because of its prestigious Liberal Arts program, Get the basics out of the
way I thought. It wasn't till about three
years later I discovered my passion in IT. Since I already knew MATC I decided
to stick with the school considering I was going for a career that didn't need
an elite degree.
Secondly, the low cost-per-credit at MATC was a bargain.
With the total price for attending could as low as 13,382 with scholarships and
grants, it wasn't even a question. Another reason was the many locations made
it locations MATC had made it possible for me to work fit in with my scheduling
needs. I am a working student after all.
Additionally, I stuck with MATC because the education you received
helps make you job ready. At MATC you can receive on the job training instead
whereas other school just teach you theory. More importantly the instructors
have a plethora of on-the-job experience in the area they teach.
Finally, and most importantly it was the supportive staff
that helped me reach my goal. With their help I'm using my skill set in my
current job as a Hardware Tech.
